Yossi Tal, Ph.D, President
Yossi Tal earned his Ph.D. from Nortwestern University and was a statistician at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He lectures extensively on statistics for non-statisticians and wrote Reading Between the Numbers: Statistical Thinking in Everyday Life (McGraw-Hill, 2001). Yossi specializes in bio-statistics, psychometrics and data mining.
Prof. Paul Feigin, Scientific Director
Paul Feigin is professor of statistics at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He was Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management and currently heads the Technion Statistical Laboratory. Paul is now Senior Exceutive VP at the Technion. He specializes in bio-statistics, experimental design and data mining.
Ester Inbar, Ph.D, VP Biostatistics
Ester earned her Ph.D. in Statistical Genetics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and her M.Sc. in Structural Biology at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot. At IDgene Pharmaceuticals she statistically modeled genetic data and oversaw system and subcontractor operations. She came to TechnoSTAT from Bio-Rad Haifa where she headed the company's system integration and was involved in client contact and needs assessment.
Adi Gefen-Biran, Head of Clinical Data Management and QA
Adi Gefen-Biran has a B.Sc. in Statistics-Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Finance from the Bar-Ilan university. She came to TechnoSTAT as a statistician in 2005 and took on her current position in 2008.
